Kickboard Canada Inc. brings Swiss design and ingenuity to Canada through the full range of premium kick® products from Micro Mobility Systems.

Having spent 17 years in Austria and Switzerland together with his wife and children prior to their return to Canada in mid-2010, Aaron White, founder of Kickboard Canada Inc., had become very well acquainted with Micro Mobility Systems and their products. In fact, their two boys, who were both born in Switzerland, grew up through a succession of micro® scooters and kickboards® - not surprising since the micro brand is so popular in Switzerland where 1 in 3 households owns at least one micro scooter or kickboard. In their former home town of Zollikon, next door to Kusnacht where micro is headquartered, scooters are an important part of everyday life. In fact, it's rare to see a child walking to school rather than zipping the 'micro distance' on a scooter. It's amusing to see how the schools have responded by providing huge plastic storage bins, which during school hours, are overflowing with scooters.

It's not surprising that micro scooters became an important fixture within the White family household in Zollikon. Over the years, their admiration for the company and fascination with its tremendous products continued to grow. One can imagine how Aaron jumped at the opportunity to take on the responsibility to build micro's kick® brand in Canada.

Back in Toronto since mid-2010, Aaron has laid the groundwork to continue building recognition for the kick brand in the Canadian market. Thanks to the enterprising efforts of the US distributor of the kick brand, the Canadian market had already been introduced to these great products beginning in early 2010. Kickboard USA immediately began to receive a very positive response from Canadian retailers and consumers alike. However, with the US market growing by leaps and bounds and with plans to enhance their product range to include the full kick assortment, Kickboard USA planned to focus their resources on their domestic market. Hence, the decision by Micro Mobility Systems in Switzerland to entrust the further development of the Canadian market to a local market distributor. With offices and a warehouse facility in the Toronto area, Kickboard Canada Inc. is ideally suited to meet the needs of the Canadian public when it comes to all things kick®.

Not only does Aaron have a strong association with the kick brand by micro but he also has a solid foundation in the development, marketing and sale of premium, design-oriented products. In fact, his move to Europe along with his wife in the early 90s, was due to Aaron's job with a leading crystal brand from Austria. Over the years, he built numerous product lines and businesses and helped drive the company's expansion into new and innovative markets.

Throughout his years in Europe, Aaron developed a passion for modern industrial design and a keen eye for what's hot and possesses the right mix of quality and value. With his family's support and shared enthusiasm for the brand, It was only natural that he saw the opportunity of working together with Micro Mobility Systems to bring kick products to Canada as a dream come true.
